Powernode - Watts per channel at 6 ohms
BeantwortetHi - just wanted to clarify what the watts per channel is with 6 ohm speakers? I know the latest Powernode is rated at 80 wpc at 8 ohms and normally this would mean around 120 wpc at 6 ohms. However, someone said that with the modern Class D amplifiers pump out the same power per channel whatever the ohms? So therefore is it 80 wpc at 6 ohms too?

Thanks Seppi. It will be interesting to hear what Bluesound say on that.
Likewise with my 91 dB sensitive speakers, also at 6 ohms, I can get to neighbour complaint levels too! I'm a bit of a novice on the technical measures so don't really know if 91dB is good or not but I like what I hear!
