Node 2 : vacation mode dangerous?

Long press 5s on play/pause : power off (then short press power on).
I suppose it's the vacation mode?

After contact with support:  "repeatedly use Vacation Mode can take up to 5 minutes to fully boot and connect to your network. Repeatedly powering the devices on and off will age your PSU as well."

I tried it and: boot and connect to my network take 10s!
It's really dangerous for PSU to use power off?

  It's not instantaneous but waking up Bluesound Players definitely will take longer in vacation mode than a normal standby.
  
  We do not recommend using this option frequently.   If I understood, vacation mode will not age the PSU.
