Node 2i Connectivity Issues

Been having these issues on and off for over a year but really has got worse recently.
Node 2i frequently drops off my local network and can’t be found via the BluOS app. This happens with both wired and wireless configurations. I have over 35 devices on the network and none of them have issues when the Node 2i drops connection. Both the LAN and WLAN/LAN are very stable. I am using an ASUS AX86U router so not a cheap ISP one that doesn't support Mulicast properly. I have been Rebooted several times and tried a different router with Google Nest Wi-Fi. The only common denominator is the Node 2i. Even when the Node 2i is still connected to the local network i still get alerts on the BluOS controller on both Android and iOS that states it has disconnected from the network. I have already logged a support ticket which asked me to make some configuration changes, most of which were wireless changes (even though the same issue occurs on the WIRED LAN also). I can't imagine the Node 2i is the only device on my network that is using multicast when we also have Amazon Alexa's, Google Mini, SONOS etc. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Would love and appreciate followup form the OP on this thread. What was determined to be the cause? My Node2i drops of the network with regularity, sometimes from desktop controller, sometimes from both desktop and android-mobile. My Pulse2i never does this (that I have ever experienced). I too run Asus routers. The Node2i loses access to my Synology NAS music share in the past month or more as well (again, the Pulse never does) and I'm still trying to determine WHY, with little help from support. Wired and wireless environment, the Node and NAS are both wired with IP reservations. Very frustrating.

Hi Kevin, this was a while ago and in the end I bought a Cambridge Audi CXN v2 which has had no issues at all in nearly a year with the same router. I did make some changes beforehand which seemed to improve things a bit but can't remember if it resolved things completely. The most important settings to change are
LAN -> IPTV: Enable multicast routing (IGMP Proxy) : Enabled
LAN -> IPTV: Enable efficient multicast forwarding (IGMP Snooping): Enabled
Wireless -> Professional -> Band 2.4GHz -> Enable IGMP Snooping: Enabled

No problem. I think there is something in the Multicast thing on both LAN and WiFi but i used it as an excuse to "upgrade" to the CA. Good luck.
