M33 - issues with Dirac to connect to M33 - why?
BeantwortetHi. Greetings from Poland. I bought a new M33 and have it since Monday this week. Generally set up went OK - incl access to my NAS, access to internet, firmware BluOs upgrades via internet. BluOs app on my iPad (and android app on smartphone) - work flawless. But I have an issue with Dirac - I bought a full version, downloaded app to my PC (Windows10). I have Dell Alienware laptop and I operate on LAN network in my apartment. Both M33 and my laptop are in the same network, even connected to the same router/switch. But somehow I can't connect to M33 to run calibration - Dirac app sees my M33 in network environment but when I click M33 icon there - it take a few moments and then a message like in the right top corner pops-up (please see attachment). I have no idea why. Interestingly - yesterday in the evening my laptop connected 2-3 times to M33 but I had no time for calibration (I was only trying to see if finally I will make this connection) and I wanted to connect to M33 again today in the morning and still again issues on and on (I did factory reset on M33, I restarted unit a few times, I restarted my PC a few times, I even shut down electricity in my apartment to turn off any equipment incl internet modem/router to reset ... and no luck with Dirac app connection to M33). On the other hand - on my android smartphone a Dirac Live app can connect to M33 and I could run calibration (I actually did once to check and managed to create/upload a filter into M33) but I can't there upload microphone distortion file and I also can't upload NAD curve (right?) as per this guide: https://support.nadelectronics.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011867634-How-to-perform-Dirac-Live-Calibration-on-NAD-products- .
Any ideas - what should I do. Why would my PC connect to M33 a few times and again for most of the time it just fails. Nothing else changes in the network environment, that's just odd behaviour - ?

DIRAC does have issues locating products when you are running Internet firewall software on your PC. Please temporarily disable that software. If problems persist, please contact our good friends at NAD Electronics to help with your NAD M33 by e-mailing them at support@nadelectronics.com.
