Can’t locate in WiFi menu

My new Node one will not enter hotspot mode, and therefor I cannot find it in my WiFi menu. After plugging it in, it’s bounces around the different LED colors until is settles on solid blue. This means it’s hooked to my router. BUT HOW?? It doesn’t have my password - so WHAT is it connected to? And how do I get it to show up on my phone’s WiFi menu as a “hotspot”? I’m about to pull ALL my hair out.
