When connected to ethernet: Settings - Player - WiFi (Configure Wireless and remove ethernet cable)
or: Help - Diagnostics - Force Hotspot Mode

    thanks, will try that!

I have it connected via network cable. I asked where I change the settings. The app can’t find the device, it’s on my network and connected to my iPhone by Bluetooth. It’s asking to
Open WiFi and find it as a hot spot. Nothing shows up

I don’t think we’re communicating clearly, I can’t get the blueos app to launch so I can’t configure anything which you keep repeating, further I have a new Eero router, works great, what/where /why do
I need to configure? For $600 it should be this complicated or fussy. Thanks

I did all of the above prior to posting, as I have some experience with these type of devices. I’ll contact Blue Sound, but you have to agree fir the money should be seamless, the fact that it’s not tells me they have software communication issues they’re still ironing out.

Was Michael's issue ever resolved? I have the same problem. Plugged in the Node and the light went from red to blinking green to blue. I could not find the node as a hotspot. The app launched but could not find a Node. I plugged in via ethernet and was able to set up the app and play some music while wired. I tried to configure WiFi in "Settings" (apparently successful, my WiFi was detected), I tried to force hotspot under "Help - Configure" (it just says "Entering Hotspot mode" but doesn't change), and I tried to unplug the ethernet cable to force hotspot. In all cases the light remains blue and not WiFi hotspot is created/found. I've also tried rebooting/resetting the Node several times.

I do have several other WiFi devices that work correctly. I've tried turning all the other devices off the reduce interference. Has anyone ever resolved this, or do I just have a bad unit? Thanks.

I appreciate you following up - I tried unplugging the ethernet after configuring the WiFi, with unfortunately no positive result. After that, I re-connected the ethernet, checked my WiFi configuration, then tried forcing the hotspot, also with no success.

Good news, however. After leaving the unit unplugged for 3+ hours, I plugged in and reset the unit again (3rd reset) and this time it worked - a Wifi hotspot was immediately created without any ethernet cable needed. The app found the unit right way, and it has been working via Wifi for several hours now. I cannot explain the result, but I am grateful and cautiously optimistic it will remain connected. Thanks for the follow up.

Same issue. I’m connected via Ethernet but not seeing a Wi-Fi hotspot. Factory reset several times, deleted/reinstalled the app. Still ko Wi-Fi hotspot.

I have a very similar unsolved issue with my Node2, which used to work OK. It moves OK to blue light  both when on WiFi and when wired. But it does not provide a hotspot, and the BluOS app (on two different iPhones) can no longer find Node2 even after reinstall of BluOS app.
Shutting down my router and turning it back on after a while does not change anything.
    Internet works fine.
I have not done a factory reset, as I would rather not loose my playlists.

    What to do?

Also having this issue.  Tried moving the node to unfamiliar places so it would go into hotspot mode and now have performed full factory resets.  The Node shows up on Bluetooth, and as an Airplay Speaker in the "Wi-Fi" settings of my phone with the default "Node 2ci-CAC" naming.  But no SSID is being produced to join to the Node.  As such the BlueOS app only searched and then provides the "Settings" page where it tells you to attach to the hotspot.  Is there some other way to get the Hotspot to re-broadcast?

Thank you for the quick response.   A question though - I plugged in the ethernet lead.  But when I open the mobile app it still cannot find the player so therefore I cannot configure the settings.  Should I be using a desktop app?  Or was the mobile (iOS) app supposed to just see it?

@Bjørn Ulvik I tried both your suggestions about 20 times. Still no luck. Only once did the Node N100 show up as a hotspot, but by the time I tried to select it, it disappeared. Am also curious: Exactly when are you supposed to unplug the ethernet cable in your first suggestion? All my attempts has returned the N100 to a fixed green led, but no hotspot showing up.

After setting the wireless password (and custom name), select "update".
Ususally the player will connect wirelessly, but if not, wait 5 minutes, disconnect power and ethernet, connect power.

It drives me mad to be honest. Tried getting the device in wifi mode. After several factory resets it finally gets to the solid green thus wifi mode. I select the device as a wifi network but unfortunately can't connect. Also tried the desktop app. When the device is in wifi mode, i open the app but it says it can't find a player.

Don't have the option to connect ethernet as i'm on the office's wifi network and no option to connect directly to a router.

What to do? Please respond as soon as you can.
