Feature Request: Music Mode for Home Theater Groups (All-Channel Stereo) Dear Bluesound Product Team, I would like to request a new feature for POWERNODE Home Theater setups. Current limitation When PULSE FLEX speakers are configured as surround speakers in a 5.1 Home Theater group, they are permanently dedicated to that role. During music playback, only the front left/right speakers reproduce stereo content, while the surround speakers remain unused (unless the source is multichannel). To use the surround speakers for music, the Home Theater group must be deleted and recreated afterwards. This is inconvenient and discourages switching between music and movie listening. Requested feature Please add a selectable Music Mode for Home Theater groups. Example options: - Front Stereo (current behavior) - All-Channel Stereo - Stereo + Surround Speakers In All-Channel Stereo, the left stereo channel should be reproduced by all left-side speakers, and the right stereo channel by all right-side speakers, similar to the "All Channel Stereo" mode available on many AV receivers. This would allow users to enjoy immersive whole-room stereo music without changing or deleting the Home Theater configuration. Why this matters Many users use a POWERNODE as both: - a Home Theater receiver for TV and movies, and - a high-quality music streaming system. Having to remove and recreate the surround configuration every time users want a different music experience creates unnecessary friction. A software-selectable listening mode would make the system significantly more flexible while preserving the simplicity of the existing Home Theater setup. Thank you for considering this feature.

  I'm not sure if you understand my question, I'm not looking for a surround stereo solution, as this is what I'm already using in the app. i have my surround setup, but if i want to listen to music in normal stereo on all speakers in my house, i need to delete my surround speaker setup and make a new group to listen to normal stereo music on all speakers. If i don't do this, and use my surround setup, i will not get the full sound out of for example my rear speakers. This is extremely annoying, to have to make this changes every time i want to switch between surround and all speaker stereo.

  Like a traditional AV Receiver, the Home Theatre Group takes on the characteristics of a 5.1 system. If you want the FLEXes to act as a stereo pair, yes you must collapse the Home Theatre Group, disconnect the Wi-Fi Direct capability, then create a Stereo Paired fixed group. When it is time to watch a movie you must collapse the Stereo Pair and re-create the Home Theatre Group.

  Note this is not available on a traditional AV Receiver where your rear speakers are permanently attached to the receiver with only rear channel capability.
  
  Try the Stereo Surround option... your ears may be pleasantly surprised.

  No i am not pleasantly surprised, otherwise i wouldn't write to you. The difference here is that on blursound setup, i have 2 ACTIVE rear speakers, that can play normal stereo with full sound picture, i don't understand why it is not possible for you to make groups with speakers that are already in another group. So the app or the powernode can remember those individual setups. Why is this not possible to code for you.?

  Why doesn't Bluesound utilize the full sound quality of the Flex 2i speakers in stereo mode? The surround upmix, generated by whatever method (AI?), sounds so bad coming from the two surround speakers...
