Home cinema group - Full Stereo sound on surround speakers in music mode
AnsweredI would like an option for my (fixed) home cinema group (Soundbar+, Sub, 2x Flex 2i). It would be desirable if, when I play in music mode (stereo, 2ch), there was an option with which the surround speakers, parallel to the soundbar, play the full stereo sound (without virtualization, sound upmix, etc.). This means that the soundbar plays the stereo channels (left/right) (as it already is), but the surround speakers also play the corresponding channel (left on the left surround speaker, right on the right speaker) in the full dynamic range (without virtualization, surround upmix, etc.).
The artificial virtualization sounds extremely bad with music and destroys the actually very good sound of the Flex speakers and does not even come close to using the potential of the Flex speakers! With this option, room-filling music playback would be possible without artificial, disturbing virtualization/upmix, etc.
Sonos, for example, also offers this option and calls it 'MUSIC PLAYBACK (with 2 options):
-Ambient: Subtle, low volume audio with a limited frequency range.
or
-Full: Full range audio at the same volume as the home theater speaker.
