NAD C368 with Bluos2i: device not always visible in NAD remote app

my NADC368 with MDC Bluos 2i has 2 problems:
1) spotify playback suddenly stops as C368 seemingly randomly goes standby. The problem disappeared, came back, disappeared and is now back
2) I can not find the NAD C368 in the NAD remote App (IoS). Also here, the problem disappeared, came back, disappeared and is now back. I believe it is always visible in the Bluos app
The MDC is connected via ethernet, runs latest firmwares from https://nadelectronics.com/product/c-368-hybrid-digital-dac-amplifier/ .
please advise!

I have the exact same setup. I tried using the NAD Remote app too, but what I missed initially is that this app ONLY connects through Bluetooth(!), while the BluOS app uses Wifi.
My C368 is inside an open cabinet but the BT connection only works reliably if I get really really close to it (less than 2m) with my iPhone. The BluOS app does 95% of what I need (only miss is not being able to switch Speakers A and B) so I stopped using the NAD Remote app.

Also if ur using bt headphones and ur amp is in source mode. U cant adjust anything with the app couse it wont connect
