Group player connection trouble
Since the 3.6.6 update I have had problems in the groups around my Bluesound soundbar and two Pulse Flex boxes. I can create a group, but after a short while the group stops playing and I see the message “grouped player connection failed” in BlueOS. Even after the update 3.6.12 I notice no difference and the problems persist. At the moment that there are grouped player problems, I often see the error message with the diagnostic information:
“Nov 21 14:54:51 (none) user.emerg ./ms.pl: main::__ANON__ ./ms.pl (120) Wide character in syswrite at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.14.2/linux-thread-multi/AnyEvent/Handle.pm line 2308.

Is this a general error that will be resolved in the short term in a new hardware update or is something else going on?

HI Guido
Disband the group and check your network signal strength. Please ensure you have "Good" signal strength when grouping a TV or lossless content. Please check out www.bluesound.com/network101 for networking tips.

I too am having the same issue of "grouped player connection failed" when I group my Node 2I and two Pulse Flex since the last update.

I have now connected the Pulse Flex boxes and the Pulse Mini via a Powerline adapter (Devolo dLAN 1200+) and now it works as it should, so they were really Wi-Fi problems, I live in a new residential area and I see many Wi-Fi networks, I also notice that my router regularly adjusts the channel and those are perhaps moments when things go wrong. Fixing the Wi-Fi channel occasionally does not provide a network, so that is no solution either. I think the powerline adapters and the wired connection are the solution, anyway.
