Bluetooth Headphones
BeantwortetI've just bought some Bose headphones which are Bluetooth (5.3) enabled. They aren't primarily for music listening, however I did intended to connect them to my system for occasional use. I have the latest Windows desktop app.
The article at https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009862794-Pairing-Bluetooth-Headphones says "Select the required Player’s context menu (3 dots) and select Bluetooth Headphones. A list of available Bluetooth receivers is displayed under DEVICES."
I'm probably missing something incredibly obvious, but the context menu seems only to take me to Audio Settings:
Audio Settings looks like this:
but nowhere do I see the "list of available Bluetooth receivers".
I'm not technologically-oriented (as I'm sure is clear) so I'm probably making a stupid mistake somewhere. But can someone who knows about these things tell me where I'm going wrong and/or point me in the right direction?
TIA,
JB

Hi John, you are correct what Alain suggested is for BT going TO your BluOS device.
Best to contact support directly, in the BluOS App please select Settings, Send Support Request, so the Bluesound Support Crew can review the log file and take a closer look

Try the iOS or Android app and see if that helps.

Have you tried Settings>Player>Customize sources>Bluetooth automatic (or other)?

@ Seppi - thanks, but I had tried (should have said in my original post) and it is no different i.e. I don't get the "Select Bluetooth headphones" option.
@ Alain - thanks, but that reads as "switches to a Bluetooth source when a connected Bluetooth device starts playing audio". If I understand correctly (not guaranteed) that seems like a connection process for e.g. a 'phone to play through Bluesound via Bluetooth - I want Bluesound to plan and listen via the headphones!

@ Seppi - do you have any influence with the Help Desk people? I did send a request but didn't hear back :-(

Hi John, did you get an email acknowledgment? If not the ticket probably did not go through. They do read every post so will pick up on this when they are next online.
I would however email to make sure support@bluesound.com

For the benefit of others, it turns out that "Pulse Flex and Pulse Mini do not have two-way Bluetooth."
