    Hi,
I can't really believe what I am reading... "It will be planned"?
So nothing is even planned yet?
I want to believe this wrong.
Or, I will strongly consider the 2 previous comments.

    Hey,

i am reading the same excuses and promises since two years. If I look at your two factor authentification, asking the user to store 20codes I can imagine how your software team is acting. I have no confidence it will ever happen with this connect function. Thanks to the user I see there are alternatives like Eversolo

The connect model update will be added when we can support it.

I have been following this thread for months and decided to create an account to let myself be heard as BluOS user. This feature is very dear to my heart and would solve a lot of issues I have in the poor UX so far w/ my (expensive!) BluOS product. Andrew, please talk to your product manager and get things prioritized - thank you!

Moderators, seriously? You did not approve my message that was suggesting to be more transparent. That was polite and balanced, actually defending you. And now, Andrew's message was toned down.
Wow! I guess you're going to block that reply too.

Let's have a little patience. Remember that BluOS is one of the better interface models compared to other free applications. Although Qobuz Connect is welcome, the use of Bluos is clearly easy and clear. With other devices it is really much more lacking

Funny enough, I just installed the new Qobuz app and I have an "anticipated acces to Connect". Many brands are listed. (I couldn't test it yet as I am at work.)

I see that it is already working (not in Beta) with many of Bluesound’s biggest competitors: HEOS, WiiM, Eversolo, Auralic, Lumin, Moon… Looks like, of the big boys, only Cambridge Audio and Bluesound are not on board on day one. I completely agree with Mathijs that making this a top priority needs to be taken to the Product Manager (at least) right away. I also agree with Jakob that the BluOS App’s own Qobuz integration is good for an audio component company’s app. BUT that is FAR from saying it is in the same league (for single point streaming as opposed to multi room streaming) as the music streaming companies apps themselves.

All this time knowing connect was coming and it seems you’ve all just thought…Nah, nobody wants that. Nearly all other top brands have been involved in the beta.
My question is why wouldn’t you. As for the answer “we’re busy” doesn’t cut it. ALL are busy but some seem to care more about the customers wants and needs and some don’t. It seems bluesound have fallen into the latter category. Shame really because it’s forced me to buy a Wiim Ultra and I have to say the App and forward thinking from them is fantastic.

Qobuz connect works flawlessly on the Wiim and sounds great. I’d go grab one because history tells us we’re going to be waiting a while for bluesound to wake up and implement this.

So disappointing to see Bluesound out of touch like this. We all knew this has been in testing for months and yet the consistent message from Bluesound has been there's no sdk, it's running late, not in existence yet, etc. Yes, Qobuz has taken forever to release it but surely you should know this is one of the most eagerly awaited features! There's simply no excuse for dropping the ball like this. Bluesound should have been in the first tranche of vendors to support it!

What a massive huge dissapointment as I have waited for this function for months. Only to learn that Bluesound isn't onboard. The Qobuz GUI in the Blusound Windows app is useless,

    Goodbye NAD, welcome Eversolo....

If Bluesound doesn’t implement Qobuz connect on very short notice l”ll leave it and also buy Eversolo or Auralic ..! It is really disappointing what Bluesound ist doing here!! This is not in line with their prices !!

I will also leave Bluesound if Qobuz connect is not implemented within a very short timeframe. Qobuz via Bluos is a terrible user experience and very limited. Not having basic functions such as filtering favourites list by genre has always frustrated me, now I see no reason to stick with the brand.

Agree, important and a potential reason to change system. After all these months ...

I was going to purchase the node icon but no chance now. Bluesound always seem to be “out to lunch”

I just got feedback from Bluesound Germany that - by now- no BlueOS update is planned this year implementing Qobuz Connect ! That is really bad client service

  • pierre tassel

All these messages show the strategic mistake BlueOS is doing by ignoring the importance of this feature. Very frustrating, it even sounds arrogant in a way.

    Absolutely Pierre!!!

after qobuz connect has been implemented in the qobuz app but not in bluesound hardware, i can see a lot of used nodes on the market in 3, 2, 1...

moreover, who will buy a new node knowing that bluesound will implement the connect feature "until much later in the year"?

    not a smart move, indeed.

We’ve seen this pattern for months — recycled excuses, shifting stories, and no transparency. First it was “Qobuz hasn’t provided the SDK.” Then, when that proved false, the messaging quietly changed. Now it’s just “we’ll get to it.” No timeline. No urgency.

Meanwhile, multiple reports suggest other brands are moving ahead — Bluesound is clearly behind.

Qobuz has actively encouraged users to contact their hardware vendors to push for Connect support. This thread is proof that people are doing just that.

At this point, it’s not about technical delays. It’s about trust. Stop dodging the issue. Be honest. Your users are frustrated — and for good reason.

This is your moment to step up — start the beta, make it a priority, and communicate like professionals — or risk alienating the community.

The wait has been far too long for Bluesound's interests to outweigh those of its customers now. Time to move to a non-Bluesound system, bye bye NAD

    I see many people complaining.
    Why so impatient.
    Give it some time

Jakob Gooijer: Impatient? We been waiting for years and then it’s finally ready Blusound who claimed to be aboard have not even started. For me it’s easy. New Hardware and do what I like to do. Listen to music!!!!

Fair enough….Can you post the link from the Qobuz site then so your customers are aware of who is ready?
You can check the link and verify your site and theirs can’t you?

Yes Pehr, that's what impatient look like.
And you are right; Listen to the music
