Same here, but I think the problem is Dirac. Again. If I switch it off, the volume returns to normal again without distortion. Why am I not surprised? Oh well. Another update, another load of bugs to add to the large list of bugs still to be squashed.

OMG it is the DIRAC! Disabled for now, but BluOS need to allow us to use old firmware. This is ridiculous

@Mark T: So you DO have a quality assurance team? Well, consider me surprised as with each new version of app or firmware something breaks completely, like now with Dirac/NAD AGAIN. It took Dirac from version 3.4 to 3.9.7 to finally correct the volume output bug. And with BluOS 4.4.1 it is back! In full force. On all NADs. It seems impossible to not have been noticed by any QA team. I’ll say it again and again: the software engineers (and QA) team do not qualify to the NAD standards. Bluesound gives NAD a bad name. Hardware is great, software atrocious.

Same problem for me. Would a factory reset work, without losing my Dirac settings? All Dirac profiles sound identical and at a much higher volume level than with Dirac off. C658 still shows update avaliable but each time I try to install it reboots and I get the same result.
