Node-X IR compatibility

Hi,

I am considering to buy my first Bluesound device, the Node-X.  The device has an IR-connector, which I would like to use to be able to use the remote controller in my kitchen.  Will a simple device like this one work or is this more complicated to get this working ?

  Hi Ulvik,  Many thanks to share that link.  I also found that on the BS webpage.  But this a rather expensive solution & is very interesting in case you need to extend the IR for 6 (six) devices.  I only need one, just for the Bluesound.  There must be an easier/more simple solution.  No ?  

  It is always a pity that a manufacturer of such devices does not offer its own solutions.
  I will not order the device as long as I didn't find the correct solution for this.
