    Hi Charles

Sounds like you purchased your NODE 2 secondhand. It is likely still trying to locate the old network it was previously attached to.

    Factory Reset it; https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/articles/200272046

Then set it up a new; https://www.bluesound.com/setup

    If problems persist, contact support@bluesound.com

Yes, that is correct in regard to green light. My wifi networks on my iphone are the availbale wifi networks under iphone 13 settings -> Wi-Fi. I only run one newtwork in my house so no issues there.

The Node 2 quick start guide doesn't mention using an ethernet to router connection, however, I did try that and the solid green light on the node 2 disappears. I opened my BluOS app and attempted to "add a player" (under my Vault), the app searches for players (without success) and I received the dreaded "Go to settings, go to WIFI & select your Player + Return to BluOS App" instructions. The eveil circle begins.

No firewall. I have a powernode 2i but it is completely disconnected. My Vault still appears in the BluOS app (which is good) but no connection to the Node 2. I am attempting to use the Node 2 alongside my old poweramp to hear if I can get a better sound than I had with the Powenode 2i. It should be easy to add the node 2 through the app but I always seem to have issues.

What do I do once the ethernet cable is connected to the Node 2? I tried this through the BluOS amp and keep getting the same instructions as I detailed above.

    Thank you!

Just solid green atm. When are you referring to the blue led appearing?

I JUST uninstalled and reinstalled the app 10 days ago to get the Vault to appear in the app while using the powernode 2i. Crazy it has to be so complicated and time consuming. No plug and play here...

Things were much easier back in the day with RCA cables, speaker wire and a power cord. That's what I really wanna get back to anyway. In the meantime, I need to Vault and Node 2 to appear in the app together.

I will have a look tonight. I disconnected the ethernet cable from the Vault (blue light) and plugged it into the node 2. The solid green light disappears and no light appears. The Node 2 worked fine at the hi-fi shop I purchased it from Saturday. I always use a lot of time installing, factory resetting, reinstalling when using my Bluesound products just to find the sweet spot.

okay. tried that but maybe there is a process like with the other bluesound products that the power cable isn't plugged in when you first insert the ethernet cable. First ethernet then power cord. I have a look tonight. thanks

    Hi Tony,

Thank you. This is my first second-hand Bluesound device (rest purchased new), so that sounds about right. I will have a look at it this evening. Thank you!
