Powernode 2 setup - Nothing except bluetooth and Tunein work

I recently bought a new powernode 2 from the marketplace (unopened since they bought). Set up says success, but nothing except bluetooth and tunein work. It keeps saying "Needs Set Up" next to the player on the blueos controller app. I tried the following:

1. Wireless (connecting to the 2.4ghz network specifically as well as the self organized 5/2.4ghz option - neither behaves the same)

2. Wired - connected via ethernet cable

Outcome is the same for both. Attaching the screenshot for reference. Reached the support via the app,no response yet.

  Updating the firmware manually after a factory reset solved the issue.
