Standby not working
BeantwortetThere are several discussions about the Nodes not going into proper Standby (digital outputs).
Can you finally confirm you are working on that problem? Its annoying many people as i can see.
Like i mentioned many times, then you use HDMI input and turn off your TV, the node turns off the optical/digital outputs.
That means there is already a working standby mode for our problem!
I just dont understand why this perfectly working HDMI/TV standby mode cant be configured to be the normal standby mode after 15 mins.
It must be possible to fix this in less than a year! People are waiting a long time for that fix now!
Thank you.

Hi Christopher
I’m going to take an educated guess you have a SONY television. If that is the case, SONY TVs do not send null signals when in stand by, the stay active and send 0s to players which indicate the TV is muted, not in stand by.
If I am correct, check your SONY TV documentation to adjust stand by settings to go i to true stand by.
If I am incorrect in my assessment, please select Help, Send Support Request so our Support Crew can further diagnose your situation and help trouble shoot why your TV is not allowing the NODE to enter stand by.

WHY do you mark posts as answered? Its not answered at all!
No, im not using Sony TV and i think you understood me wrong.
Your device doesnt turn off optical or digital outputs, when in standby! There are many posts and you say "working on it" for over 1 year.
So i mentioned, that IF you use the HDMI Input (from whatever TV) then the standby works as desired: turning off all outputs, no toslink LED is on, speakers with autosense turn off. How it should be in 2023.
But ONLY if you use hdmi AND turn off your TV. Thats the only way the standby mode does its job.
If you dont play anything and wait for 15 minutes, or 60, or 5000, optical and digital remain ON.
So, fix it please. Its possible!
