BluOS Controller app 4.x.x
To stream a CD or better quality audio to Bluesound Players using Qobuz, you require a Studio or Sublime streaming plan. Both the plans support FLAC 24-bit up to 192 kHz.
Change Qobuz Streaming Quality
To change the streaming quality of Qobuz in BluOS, perform the following steps:
Android/iOS - Change Qobuz Streaming Quality
- In the BluOS Controller app, select the Music tab .
- Under the Music Services section, tap Manage > Qobuz.
- Enter the Username and Password.
- Select STREAMING QUALITY (minimum CD 16-bit up to 48 kHz to ensure Qobuz is playing at least CD quality)
- Select Login.
Windows/macOS - Change Qobuz Streaming Quality
- Launch the BluOS Controller app; under the left Navigation Drawer, select Music Services > Qobuz.
- Enter the Username and Password.
- Select STREAMING QUALITY (minimum CD 16-bit up to 48 kHz to ensure Qobuz is playing at least CD quality)
- Select Login.
Playback Quality Indicator
BluOS Controller App indicates the 16-bit files using the CD - Playback quality Indicator in the Now Playing Screen and the Play Queue next to the playing track. 24-bit files are displayed using the HD logo indicator. To change the streaming quality that corresponds to your Qobuz subscription type, perform the following steps:
- In the BluOS Controller App, on the left Navigation Drawer, select Music Services > Qobuz. The Qobuz Authorization screen appears.
- Select Logout. Wait for the page to refresh.
- Renavigate to Music Services > Qobuz.
- Enter the Qobuz credentials and select Login.
- Select the streaming quality.
