BluOS Search should not be just for the exact text string typed
AnsweredI'm finding it almost impossible to search for specific songs or albums in BluOS due to the search function only looking for the exact string typed.
As an example, if I wanted to search for the song "Rain" by The Beatles this is not really feasible. I have approximately 2,000 Beatles tracks in my library, so typing Beatles in won't get me close.
If I type Rain as my search then that narrows it down to 400 songs in my library with that word in the title/band name or album name, so that's not going to find it easily either.
In iTunes I can type Beatles Rain as my search and it will look for anything with both those words across all meta data and easily gives me the few versions of that song I have, but in BluOS that returns no search results because the exact string "Beatles Rain" doesn't exist in the meta data.
Please could we have an option for the search bar to not require an exact string to be entered, as currently there's a lot of my library feels out of bounds because it's too much of a pain to search for.
Thanks :-)

Thank you for your feedback, I will make sure our quality assurance department and development team are aware of this issue.
Thanks for #LivingHiFi -
I'm really hoping I don't get to the point where I feel I have to look for an alternative streamer.
Is there any possibility the search facility can be made so much more usable by implementing this suggestion?

+1 for more robust search. Also Boolean search across categories, so the “Beatles AND Rain” would return the right song.
