Vault2 won’t rip gold discs

My Vault2 won’t rip gold discs. I have 2 such discs, compilations not audiophile cds. The unit can identify the titles but the ripping will fail after a while. Is there a solution for this?

  It's not the colouring of the disc, check the disc under good light and look for blemishes or nicks. Consider cleaning the disc and try again. If the failures continue, please select Help, Send Support Request so we can review the VAULT event log and better identify the cause of the failure.
