    Hi Chan

USB output is not available on any BluOS product except the NODE N130. As Seppi suggested, please select Help, Send Support Request in the App so the Support Crew may review your log files and see why your AirPlay device is not being redirected properly.

Firstly… The Apple Music App using Airplay is not lossless, whilst both are capable of lossless music the Apple Music App does not play lossless over Airplay irrespective of what the Apple Music App displays.

So this basically means that the audio quality will be less / poor in comparison to Tidal. However there should not be “spluttering”. This is probably caused by local networking / Wi-Fi interference. Airplay relies on the connection from your Apple Device to your Router and then from the Router to your Node.

Tidal (depending on what plan you have) will output upto 24/192 over both Optical and Coaxial to your external DAC without any issues.

For the spluttering I suggest you play some music using the Apple Music App via Airplay and when you get the spluttering submit a support ticket using the Bluesound App… Help…Send Support Request. This will send the logs to Bluesound for checking.

Hi Seppi , thx for your support. Actually my node is connected wirelessly. Previously when I was playing Apple music via Node, there was no issue at all. So according to your advice, it will get improved if my Node is connected via Lan cable won‘t it?

    Thank in advance one more!

If it’s easy for you to run an Ethernet cable then yes it’s the best way to connect and most reliable. This would eliminate one wireless hop when using Apple Music. Of course you still need a good signal from your Apple device to the Router and you can test this just by moving closer to the router but not too close.

Unfortunately it does not help with lan cable at all. I have searched many cases from some forums, many users have same issue. So stressful.. better to go to Node n130 with USB input

There is no USB input on any Bluesound devices, suggest you follow my advice and submit a support ticket.

I meant USB out from Node, which is available Node N130 after Node 2i.
