Pairing Bluetooth Speaker and Having Main Outputs On

Just spent $2k on NAD C700 and it appears Bluesound will not let you simultaneously playback through bluetooth speaker and main speaker outputs. It looks like this question/concern was raised on the forums here three years ago, but the Bluesound administrator said to just go buy a Flex 2i.  Is there a setting somewhere that will turn the mains back on now? 

The Flex is inconvenient, as it’s quite large and you have to plug it into wall, not to mention expensive.  It seems like adding the option to turn on or off the mains while using bluetooth output would be a simple addition to the software.  The Marantz NR1200 has this feature without needing an app and for half the price of the C700.  One of the main reasons I went with Bluesound was that they were touting the “2 way bluetooth”, so one would assume it would perform this basic task.
