Bluesound Node doesn't list all of the Artists on the USB drive

I have a  1TB USB drive with hundreds of Artists,  which has over 1200 CDs.   Looking at the  Artist List for the USB I noticed that it skipped some Artists.    If I scan the files on the USB stick I can see them and play them.     All files were ripped onto a computer by the same Microsoft player  and I copied the Music directory to the USB drive.   Any idea why the indexing is not working 100%?

  Indexing is probably working as expected.
  Basically, the "artist" view is "albumartist(s)", so artist(s) in album with various artist will end up as "various", or not "visible" in artist view.
  Artists not shown can be found if you use the search field if they are correctly tagged.
