Settings for playlist and player
AnsweredI found similar request's (some few months old, some 2 years old) but only the answer that i will take in consideration. Is there somewhere a roadmap available for the planned feature?
These are my request:
- I have a NAD M10 but this is probably applicable on more devices. Make it possible to configure some general setting per source. Most important for me is Dirac and/or bass-treble per source since the desired sound for music in different then for example watching TV. Also like the screen off during TV/Movie but like to see the alumcover when listing to music. I previously had a NAD T758v3 and there was so much more to configure to presets and settings per source.
- Clear the played songs from the "autofilled playlist". Or make this an option to clear when played. I'm sure this in mentioned before by others but it's frustrating that when I what to shuffle an album or playlist the autofilled playlist has to be deleted first, else it also plays songs from there instead of only the album or selected playlist.
- Volume leveling per input, also mentioned before by others. There is/can be a big difference is volume level per source. It would be great to have a volume-leveling-setting per source to set it +/- x dB to prevent the big volume change when switching source.

Hi Erik
You are correct, a T758 is very different than an M10. That being said, you can store up to 5 DIRAC filters on either device. So yes you can set a different filter based on the source and then switch filters quickly using the BluOS App. See https://support.nadelectronics.com where our good friends at NAD have a full Help Centre section on DIRAC
In the Play Queue, there is a visible break and you can bulk delete the Auto Filled tracks before shuffling. You can also disable AutoFill altogether in the BluOS App under settings, Playback.
Finally, gain settings per source is an often requested new feature that gets lots of discussion with our product development team. Unfortunately, not all features are easy implementations. BluOS generally does not publish their product development road map for a number of reasons but do know we do value and listen to feedback and do consider everything.

Hi Tony,
Thanks for the answer. I know how to change Dirac filters and delete the auto filled playlist but to be honest it feels a bit like "work arounds".
I really hope in the feature it will be possible to assign sound/dirac settings per source and the tracks are deleted from the AutoFilled playlist when played. The major downside of AutoFill disabled is it's not possible to start an album or playlist halfway with adding every track manualy to the que. Also the tracks are still stored in the qua so the playlist still have to be deleted.
