Bluesound node use case
AnsweredHello,
I am new to this blue* concept. I need to know if Node is right choice for me.
My scenario is:
1. livingroom with LS50 Wireless 1 -> I prefere to feed them via USB
2. work room with Topping DAC D70s -> also USB which is preffered source
How to make Node feed those two (or later maybe 3) devices via USB? I have no possibility to get Toslink/Coaxial or USB cable between rooms. Only Ethernet.
Currently I use Roon and Raspberry Pi4 as a bridge which is fed through ethernet from core.
Is something like that possible with Node?

You will need a NODE for each room unless you can run cables, just think of a NODE as a replacement for the Pi and how that connects to your active speakers / DAC.

Thanks. I was afraid it works like that 😔.
Can I than run Tidal on both at the same time? Without family account.0 -
Most, if not all music services now require additional accounts when running different streams, so you would need the family account.
But… if you wanted the same music to play across multiple Bluesound devices then you group players and only one account is needed.

Thanks for clarification. Then bluesound is not for me.
