Factory rest of Node 2 failinf

I went through the steps, and it told me I successfully updated the wifi setting however, after launching the app, my player cannot be found and it asks me to do everything over again. I attempted a factory reset at least six more times, but I never get the flashing red, and it goes from red, to flashing green to solid blue. I really want to get my player working again. What more can I do before I tear my hair out?

I am still unable to connect to my player. It either stays on solid red, or goes to blue. When I attempt to find it via the app on my iPad, it does not find it. I cannot complete a factory reset. Time to start pulling my hair out. PLEASE HELP
