Node won't play some Amazon Music HR

Just got the new Node. It will not play certain HR songs through optical output, however plays all through analog.....

  Hires playback over optical can be troublesome…. Sometimes it’s the optical lead, sometimes it’s the DAC, can you test using coaxial to your DAC ? you don’t need a fancy lead as any interconnect will do the job such as the one you used to test analogue.

  Double-check with your DAC’s manufacturer to ensure 24/192 is supported over optical and then try another optical lead.

  Sooooooo, apparently Optical 2 does not read certain HR tracks. However optical 1 on Marantz 8012 does. Odd. Thank you for your response Seppi! What would you say is the "best" output to use on the node? And I do not understand the HDMI on it, is it an output so you have a UI on a large screen so you don't use the app? Thanks!

  Its really up to you which output you use, some insist on using USB, some optical and I generally just use a mix of Coaxial and optical.

  The HDMI port is so you can connect your TV to the NODE, generally used if you don't have an AV receiver and looking to enhance your TV audio.
