Pulse mini 2i does it wake up automatically on optical signal from idle state (when the internal amp is switched off after 15mins)? In other words, if I connect it to TV, will switching TV on also wake up Pulse mini 2i automatically or do I need to use app or press any buttons on speaker?

  Thank you, I looked at that but it does not say specifically that it applies to idle state. Auto sensing stops the music from other sources and switches to optical in. But if speaker is in idle state there is no music from other sources so will providing the signal at optical in wake the speaker from idle state?

  Auto Sense will "wake" the player from stand-by mode.
