Restore original settings remote control Bluesound RC1
AnsweredThis week I put the ordered Bluesound RC1 remote control into use for my Bluesound Powernode N300.
I probably erased the pre-programmed settings by mistake during installation.
Now I have been able to recover most of it via the Bluesound app on my iPhone, such as turning the sound louder and softer, etc.
What I have not been able to do, however, is to reset the function of the (red) On - Off button (Power button) and the button with which I can operate the blue LED on the Node N300.
Is this possible and if so, how?

Hi, you don’t actually program the RC1 but you can program your Bluesound device to use different IR commands.
To use the RC1 you need to toggle (in Settings… Player…IR Remote) on “Enable BluOS Remote” and in the IR learning section I would click clear all. This would put it back to the factory settings.

Thank you for the reply.
I understand that if I delete all Commands from the RC1 remote in the Bluesound app, the factory settings will be reset.
Does this mean that the (red) Power button and the button for the blue LED also function again?

They should… you might also want to powercycle your Bluesound device.

It still doesn't quite work...
I have set all the presets as desired via the Bluesound app on the RC1 remote control, but two buttons do not yet function on the remote control.
The red (Power) button and the button to turn off the blue LED on Node N330.
The red button is especially important because now I can't turn off a running Radio program.Just an addition....
The red button worked well at the beginning but due to a stupid ill-considered programming error on the RC1, the red button no longer works.
Could you pass me the procedure on how to get the red button on the RC1 working again so that I can turn the Node N330 "off"?
Thank you very much for taking the effort.0 -
The NODE never actually turns off, the “dim” feature for the LED is affected by the proximity settings so you may want to see what you have this set at.
Suggest you log a support ticket with Bluesound so they can help you, best to do this immediately after using the remote so the commands are stored in the logs.
