I am using a node 2i for several streaming platforms including roon. 

My amp (denon pma600) has a rec out, so I have a separate headphone dac/amp connected, in order to be able to use it at the same time without muting the amp etc.

If I split the node signal (coaxial/optical)  between two dacs will I get delay / latency between the two systems??

I know it doesn't make much sense, but I want it to be completely synced. So I am between getting a second streamer (for further future flexibility) or a separate dac into which, the node would stream at the same time with the dac I already use in the headphone rig.

  Easiest and most accurate answer - buy 2 NODEs and connect them each individually, one to each DAC. Bluesound Players are specifically designed to play in perfect sync to achieve what you are looking for.

  I have multiple nodes (2 N130s plus a Pulse) which work great in almost all situations.  Occasionally I run music videos through my HT and stream the same music into other rooms and the yard via the other node and pulse for a party.  I was getting a similar latency.   To mitigate it I set the Node taking in the HT input to "A/V Mode".  This gets the delay to near zero in my situation.  This might be a short-term solution.  Per the BluOS App "A/V mode makes speed a priority" over audio quality.
