Corrupt track

I have connected an external hard drive to my router. On that drive i store my music library. With the Bluos App i play music with my Mode 2i. On one album there is a corrupt track. You hear a strange tapping sound. On my mac i have the same library in iTunes. When i play the same track you don't hear the strange tapping sound. I have deleted that file from my external hard drive and place it again. Rebuild and re-index my library again, but nothing works. What can i do to solve this problem?

  As Alain says… also worthwhile trying a pair of headphones attached directly to your Node to see if you can hear the tapping noise still. If it sounds fine it may be caused downstream in your DAC / Amp.

  Also worthwhile toggling replay-gain off if you have that turned on in the Bluesound App.

  Yes, it works. I turn off replay-gain and I don’t hear the strange tapping sound. Thanks!
