Crackle / loud hiss onm start of new tracks on digital outputs
When I go between some tracks there is a loud crackle/electronic hiss from my Node 3 for a split second. Sounds terrible. Only happens on digital outputs.
The digital inputs (tried co-ax and TosLink - both the same) feed into a Rega Elicit MK5. I've had the Rega swapped out and can only assume it's the Node now.
I get it when listening to Amazon Prime music. Happens a lot but if you want to test it:
Man in the long black coat (Joan Osborne)
Big City Life - Luude & Mattafix.
Both are Ultra HD streams from Amazon Prime music. If you go to the end 10 seconds of the first song and let it run into the second song you I hear it. I hear it on lots of tracks but that's just to help you look into it.
I have done all the suggested (I found quite a few posts about this and the Node 3) things to try and fix it - set Audio clock trim off, set output level as fixed. Nothing makes a difference.
This doesn't seem to be an isolated thing from what I can find.
Is this something you can address in a firmware update? If not I'll be returning the Node as it's really ruining the HD music experience I bought it for.
Thanks.

Please continue to work with your DAC manufacturer to resolve this issue as it is being caused downstream from the NODE and is related to signal muting when switching resolutions. Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done at the BluOS level as the sound happens further down the audio chain.
