eARC issue: NAD M33 and Sony OLED 65A80J

I am able to power both when turning on TV. The same won't work to shut it off. M33 stays on. I have verified all settings on Sony TV, and NAD M33 is listed under synced devices. All appears to be OK. Would someone assist me?
