Sound not balanced

Hi there, I recently own a Node 2i, amazing sound btw!! It is connected with a quality Audioquest coax cable to my amazing Metrum Acoustics Amethyst dac. The problem now is that the sound "pulls" to the right speaker more than to the left speaker. Right gives more detail than left. I connected the 2i to a system from my friend and that gives the same problem. This is a digital problem, so is there an update or so to solve this? With kind regards, P. Philipse

  Hi, I own a Metrum Acoustic Amethyst and was looking to buy the Bluesound Node, newer model. That is how I came across this post. I am interested to know if this is a Bluesound Node issue when used with the Metrum Acoustic Amethyst DAC or just your unit. You say you tried using the node at your friends place and saw the same issue. If that setup did not involve the Metrum DAC, it could be an issue with your unit. Did you try using the unit connected directly to your Amp, eliminating the DAC ? You can connect using RCA or Coax, this way you can check if its the Coax port or change cable to isolate the issue. Whatever the case, could you please post your findings and final resolution, that would be very helpful.

  After reboot the problem is gone. Thanks for your supply, you can buy the Node now😉

  I am thinking about upgrading to the current model N130 i think its called. Just becouse i now do not need my pre amp anymore.

  Amazing dac the Amethyst is hey?

  Thanks for the prompt response, its great to know that the issue is resolved.

  Yes I am quite happy with the Amethyst.

  As for the node, the new version is just called Bluesound Node with no numbers to my knowledge. There is the power version has an Amp and the Vault model has storage.
