NAD C368 with MDC BluOS 2 disconnects constantly; Can’t access settings
AnsweredI’m having multiple issues. I can only listen to a few songs over Airplay before it disconnects and I have to restart NAD C368. And on the NAD I can’t access BluOS settings. For example, I can get to BluOS Reset but I can’t select it to actually do a reset. I have Amp selected on remote.

I have all the latest firmware, etc.

I was suddenly able to get to BluOS Reset command so I quickly did the reset. Still disconnecting though.

I got another new router. Very common top-rated router: TP-Link AX55. Still disconnecting after a couple of minutes. FYI, my old Apple Airport Extreme worked fine but Comcast stopped supporting it. Are there some router settings I need to fiddle with? From what I've read it could have something to do with the NAD BluOS card requiring old standard 2.4ghz, which it's using but I also have a separately named 5ghz network. Is there a 5ghz USB Wifi dongle that will work with MDC BLUOS 2?

I talked to a nice guy at Crutchfield and he told me to change the 2.4ghz channel from Auto to channel 3. Did not help. Disconnects after a minute or so and I have to Reboot BluOS.

Thank you Seppi! You guided me to the solution. After it stopped I ran the diagnostic in the BluOS app and it said “weak” wifi, which surprised me because wifi works great much further away. I moved the wifi dongle around and it suddenly had strong wifi AND stopped disconnecting! I do think the weak link with this device is the USB wifi dongle. I’m planning to run Ethernet to my NAD.
