Hi: Just got a notice of a new controller update(3.18.2) for my NODE (N130),so just wondering what the new version does?Thanks,Keith

  The 3.18.2 controller release for desktop platforms of windows and macOS includes:

  • More reliable start-up, preventing possible hangs.

  Every time I download the new controller app, I am surprised/disappointed that at the same spot I cannot view the release notes. Or make a fixed topic over here where you can find those release notes. Some companies also announce a new release with features. But let's start with actual release notes.

  No one is forcing you to update, but latest is usually a "better version of itself".
  Your choice.

  It’s not true! Bluesound force all upgrades.
  You can delay for 24h, no more than that.

  If the latest upgrade is the best… we know it’s not true with Bluesound.

  See, for example the v3.18.7? It was so bad, that Bluesound must have to lunches a v3.18.9 a few days later.

  The upgrade v3.18.7 destroyed my Vault2, and they don’t assumed the fault. They said it’s a mechanical issue, but is not true.

  I can downgrade de software and the Vaul2 works fine for 24h, until they force the upgrade.

  If Bluesound is as careful with controller software updates as it is with firmware updates 😱 it's better to leave it as is.

  I am still on the 'old' Windows controller app (3.18.1) and no problems so far.

  Why does Bluesound not monitor their own board more?/!! Keith

  If you are satisfied with your controller and not having issues, you are safe to keep what you currently have.
  
  Like I said, 3.18.2 prevents possible hangs specially in MacOS.
