Oh Share, Where Art Thou?
AnsweredBeen using BlueOS for a while on Mac and various i-devices. Recently my music library vanished. All the music is still there. When I try to reindex it stops at 1 song. If I try to re-add the music folder as a share I get this message. Permissions are set to everyone, read only.
Ideas?

Great to hear you figured it out - this Help Centre Article also details the answer; https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/articles/204525213

This is on Mac OS 12.4, on a 2020 or so iMac.

OK, think I figured it out. Had to allow access to the parent folder above the music folder so that it would approve access to the music folder. Then re-added the music folder as a local share. It's currently indexing, as normal.

I spoke too soon. Now I have a full library again, but get this error message with all tracks....

Okay, now I fixed this. Had to make the startup drive a shared folder. Music is playing.
