Note that TVs will specify which HDMI port is the ARC out port. This is because the HDMI ARC (and eARC) standard requires a specialised HDMI ARC out port. You cannot connect just any HDMI device. If you want to listen to your AppleTV via HDMI, you will need an ARC out port. The easiest and fastest way to do this is plug the AppleTV into your TV and your tv ARC out to the NODE ARC in

    1. Can I not connect the Apple TV HDMI out to Bluesound node N130 HDMI eARC using a high speed HDMI cable and get only Apple Music lossless and hi-res audio? Intent is lossless music.
    2. In doing so can I then take USB out from bluesound node N130 to an external DAC. Since I have a very hiend DAC
Through all this the intent is to use music app and control the playback of lossless, hi-res through a iPhone

Basically can I avoid the via TV. Also what to try both the DAC on the BLuesound N130 and also external DAC. Using Apple TV as source for lossless music. Not airplay which dies not super lossless playback.

    Hi-Res

    No…

The HDMI on the NODE is an ARC HDMI port and for connecting a TV only.
