Volume slider still showing while using USB output
AnsweredI was told in a previous support request that it's my DAC's fault for communicating back to the Node that it's a DDC..? The USB output into my DAC works fine, it's fixed like it should be and therefore the volume slider does nothing. So regardless, if you advertise the USB port as a fixed-only output, then your app should prevent the volume control graphic from even appearing.
Node N130, 3.18.7
iOS 15.5
BluOS controller 3.18.1

Hi Steven
Please consult your external DAC manufacturer to resolve this issue in their firmware to have it report correctly as this error is happening downstream and cannot be resolved in BluOS.
Thanks for your patience and understanding.

That is an embarrassingly poor response from Lenbrook as a tech company. Again I'll re-iteriate: if you advertise the USB port as a fixed-only output, then your app should prevent the volume control graphic from even appearing in the first place, regardless of what the DAC is communicating. This is a VERY easy UX/UI fix. It looks bad on you as people at my house have already been confused by the presence of a volume slider that doesn't do anything. Please escalate this.

Just upgraded to 3.20.25, this bug still exists. Easily fixable - just restrict the app from even showing the volume slider upon plugging in ANY usb.
