Grouped NAD Turns On When Muted

I have a NAD C399 Bluos and a couple of Pulse speakers in different parts of the house. They're all grouped. When I send some music to one of the Pulses, the NAD will turn on (come off standby) even though it is muted. Is there a setting in the NAD that will stop this? Not a big deal, just trying to avoid some unnecessary wear and tear.  Thanks.

  If they are grouped, it is expected to play them together as a group all at the same time. I suggest ungrouping if you are planning to play your PULSE individually.
