What exactly is "Force Hotspot Mode"

I notice on my NODE(N130),this "Force Hotspot Mode" box is shown next to the "Reboot" box when going to Help>Diagnostics>....so do I need this feature and if so,what does it do?.Thanks,Keith

  Hi Keith,
  
  Force Hotspot Mode clears/erases the current saved wireless configuration and removes your device from the network.

  If you move your player to a "new" network you could force hotspot mode, and be able to setup the "new" wireless network.
