Notice of firmware update (3.18.0) for NODE
AnsweredI have not been around my Bluesound NODE for some time and I got a notice that there was a firmware update(3.18.0),but noticed that it did not refer to my NODE,but other products.
*EDIT* I made a mistake, the new firmware is a desktop app(3.18.0),not 3.18.7 like I stated and does anyone know what this new firmware contains? Thanks,Keith

You will get an update notice for firmware if it's for your specific equipment.
You will get an update notice for software (BluOS Controller) whatever your equipment is.

Thanks for the replies.
One other question...what does the new desktop app 3.18.0 for the NODE contain? Thanks,Keith

This is just a guess on my part, but it was probably just a change to the UI to allow for the new "Balance" feature.

I am not positive, but I think that the new 'balance' feature is not pertinent to the NODE,lots of other models, but not the NODE....I could be wrong. Thanks,Keith

The "NODE" I keep referring to is the latest version, third generation (model (N130) and I believe it came out in 2021.

Sorry...don't know why I kept referring to it as the "NANO". I fixed previous references. Thanks

Do yourself a favor and don't update. There are serious problems with the latest releases.

Could you elaborate on what "serious problems" there are associated with the latest releases?.Thanks,Keith

- Windows and MacOS controllers failing to load. This is the most serious problem. 2 of 4 total controllers for the platform do not work.
- Amazon music authentication issues.
- Qobuz playlists not loading
