Missing features compared to Yamaha WXC-50
AnsweredI bought new Node (N130) as replacement of Yamaha WXC-50.
There are few features I am missing, while I enjoy Tidal Connect and MQA.
Node's digital outputs are always on -> automatic switching of external DAC (Topping E30) is not working.
No way to adjust different volume levels of inputs (e.g. big difference between Optical input from TV and Tidal).
Missing volume level info and bitrate info.
Can these features be solved in future SW updates?
Thanks

Hi Marian
Limiting Volume by inputs is not supported but consider making Presets for your TV and include volume settings there...

Having both analogue and digital outputs active at the same time does not impact audio performance. Where it could impact you is if you are trying to use an external DAC as a way to create a multiroom experience rather than using a second BluOS Player which may result in sync issues caused by possible delay added by your external third party DAC. This is not supported nor recommended.

Just one update, Trigger out works correctly, switching off after 15 minutes.
The more I don't understand why digital outputs cannot be switched off as well.

Hi Tony,
Thanks for reply.
Unfortunately, I don't see an option to include Optical input in Presets.
The second issue is that there is no way to use Auto on/off or Auto-sense functions of external amplifier or DAC.
Any hint is appreciated.
Thanks
M.
