Tidal: Add My Daily Discovery to My Mix

Tidal has a great "My Daily Discovery" playlist that shows up in the Tidal app under "Mixes For You" alongside the My Mix 1-8. It'd be great to add My Daily Discovery to Bluesound and allow it to be assigned a preset.

    While at this time the player does not support this, rest assured that we will be taking this purposed request and forwarding it to our Quality Assurance Team as well as the BluOS Development Lab for their consideration for a future update.     I agree. This feature almost makes me want to switch back to Spotify, since it works for Spotify. But I really don’t want to do that.

    come on guys please add this to the next version of blueos. it’s most likely just one additional generic url you have to add next to the urls of the personal mixes.

    We'd love to add it Cedmue - unfortunately, this is not included in the TIDAL API they present us. YOu can use TIDAL Connect as a workaround. Here's how; https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360056154514

    Long term - please let TIDAL know your feelings as well so they can include it in their API for everyone to enjoy

    Thank you very much for your answer, Tony. So, of course, that is a very different starting point as noted in the accepted response. Tidal Connect does not work, unfortunately. But these are now both issues with which I turn to Tidal.

    It's disappointing to see that a year on and this still cannot be implemented.
    I am aware that this is more a Tidal thing than a Bluesound, but it is still something that would be popular

    Just a thought Tony but do you not have an open channel of communication with Tidal yourself as a Bluesound Product Support Manager? I’d wager that pressure levied by your company upon Tidal will have far greater affect than the odd one of us doing it. This needs to be added as it is something that many of us look forward to playing daily. It’s a glaring omission that, despite being Tidal’s omission, is damaging to the appeal of Bluesound’s products. Please give Tidal a kick up the ass about it!

    We do have inside channels to TIDAL but unfortunately for us and you, as a consumer who pays a monthly subscription to TIDAL, you carry far more weight than we do to add it to their API. Especially if many of you contact TIDAL and require it.
