The time is an industry-standard 15 minutes and is not adjustable. You can disable Amplifier Stand By all together in the Settings Menu... but may be a drain on your hydro bill.

I would love to see a timeout variable setting implemented. Seems like more of an industry standard to allow users to control how long they want their device to timeout instead of mandating a one size fits all, take it or leave it approach. Alternatively, a nice solution would be to allow the unit to be turned off with the power button while not in standby mode. As it stands now my choice is a) leave in standby mode and allow it to turn off frequently when I have a source paused for longer than 15 minutes (a frequent occurrence during my work day); then I have to wait for several seconds for it to power back up which is super annoying; b) disable standby mode and then it then consumes power continuously even overnight while I'm not using it. This is a maddening situation, terrible user experience and the biggest flaw of this otherwise marvelous device. PLEASE implement either a variable timeout setting (15 or 30 minute increments up to 2 hours seems reasonable) or allow the power button to turn it off while standby mode is disabled.
