    Hi Bob

Thanks for the feedback - our Product Development Team is continuing to work with IDAGIO to identify limitations in implemented API provided in hopes of creating a better experience for our mutual customers.

You might want to also consider Qobuz as a service. This morning we are releasing BluOS 3.18.7. One of the changes in 3.18.7 is an update of the Qobuz API with classical collectors in mind.

Hi Tony.  Thanks for the response. I can’t find the version 3.18.7 release notes; the most recent posted is 3.16.8.

Could you give me a little more information about the update, and how it enhances listening for classical music listeners?  Specifically, what problem(s) is it addressing?

Hey Tony, nice to hear that a new Update hits the Devices. I installed on my Powernode and my Flexes. These time no changelog is available, do you have any tipps to find ? Except to wait a few days 😁 or maybe you can tell all the changes.

Hmmm. “Added more metadata for classical content on Qobuz.” That’s kind of useless. Tony, how about a little more specificity?  What metadata was added?

This bug (only one result buffer containing only the 30 topmost items being returned when My Music -> Albums are requested) is still not fixed after 4 years of first being identified.. Good work BluOS team!

Wondering if there's any update on issues with Idago.  I listen exclusively to classical music, and I've been pretty happy with Idagio (library, ease of use, etc.).  The one (big) downside is no gapless playback through the desktop app, which is what I'm using via Mac Mini to my hifi system.  So I started looking at the Node as a possible solution, but this thread is giving me pause.  Any others with recent experience using Node to stream Idago?

Nothing has been done about the issue. There are the same problems regarding the Idagio integration that have existed since the first day that was launched some years ago. The main issue is as described above. Having said this I would like to add that streaming Idagio through BlueOS will solve your gapless problem.

In talking with our Quality Assurance Team we have, in fact, identified a root cause of a long-standing issue in the Idagio API when sorting or choosing selections via 'Works'. Look for a resolution in a near pending release (which rumour has it is October 17th if you are reading other threads here.)

The problems with the integration of Idagio in the Bluos app still exist.

    - only 30 of my favorite albums are shown. For playlists: the same, only 30.

    - the list of ''works'' ends with an error message ''30 is not a valid cursor''. huh?

    - none of my favorite artists are shown.

These problems are now over 3 years old and nothing has been done to solve them.

STILL NO SOLUTION FOR THE INTEGRATION OF IDAGIO IN BLUEOS. !

    Hi

I am new to BluOS and I am a classical music listener using Idagio.I don't know what the situation was like 5 years ago but I agree that right now (January 2025), the interface is far from ideal. The "favorite" albums and tracks appear only very partially and cannot be sorted or searched. I find this very disapointing when the integration of Idagio was my main driver to buy my new equipment.

The integration is rather limited indeed. It actually got much worse 8 months ago, at least on Android, maybe this has progressed to iOS as well.

No indication of currently playing track in the album's track listing, no distinction between work and movements. Issue did not exist until Android app v4.2.4, which is what I am still using today. This does not only affect Idagio, but Presto and Qobuz alike, makes the UX for classical horrible.

I have given up on this issue. Nothing has happened so far to solve these problems. Number of times I have reported it and it makes me think that Bluesound doesn’t care much about this issue.

Sadly, I don't think there's much interest at all on the part of these companies to cater to serious classical listeners, as we're such a small slice of the market.  I still subscribe to Idagio, as I'd like to support them, but I'm mostly using Tidal via Eversolo (which also hasn't integrated Idagio in any really useful way).  Still hoping, but not holding my breath.

The issue of a cap of 30 albums in IDAGIO has been fixed.  Thank you so much, Bluesound.  IDAGIO integration works very well in my experience, now that this important limit has been lifted.
