Speaker/equipment "burn-in"

I'd like to see a one button function that would play recognized burn-in recordings or program selected by the user. The function would play continuously, varying the volume within selectable parameters, while maintaining a total elapsed time counter for any number of sessions, resettable by the user. Remote access to confirm the status of the function would be nice.

  Digital amplifiers do not require 'burn-in'.
