I have 4 empty LAN ports on my Netgear router. Can I use one of those to connect NODE N130 via Ethernet cable?

  The ethernet cable I'm considering has RJ45 connector. Will this work?

  Yes, that should work. Double-check the cable itself, there should be a printing label showing the category the cable is rated for. I suggest Cat6 and higher for the best result.
