    Hey Andreas,

    We have not seen any support ticket from you? You can use your BluOS App to send support request, BluOS App >> Help >> Send Support Request.

    Thanks for Living HiFi!

    Hi-Res

    If not already done do try removing the power from the Node for a good 10 mins and see if that helps, otherwise it’s a matter for Support.

    Thank you for the answers.

    @Seppi: Already tried ;)
    @Mark: Resubmitted the ticket. Apparently the form doesn't like spaces at the end of the e-mail address.

    I've had lots of issues with optical. Things to try:

    - First try a different toslink adapter (they're cheap).

    - Failing that, try a different cable. I have one cable which works perfectly connected to other devices but does not work with the Bluesound (even though you can see the light at the end).

    For me, it was a combination of the 2 which worked, I think. Although I never did get optical working via my TV.

    The default response from Bluesound support seems to be to try a different cable and turn it off and on again. If that doesn't work, their usefulness is limited (from my experience).

    Hi Alex,

    What Toslink adaptor did you use?

    My Node3 shows a mis-aligned Toslink transmitter module, also seen with demo unit at a retailer.

    Waiting for Support to respond.

    I have exactly the same issue, optical used to function, but nothing has changed since. Just updated, now on 4,2

    Problem solved.
    I had a very similar problem, the optical input only worked after wiggling the optical input plug on the node and the TV toslink out for a long time. Then at some point I couldn't hear anything at all. It was over, no matter which cable, restarting the node, nothing helped. Then I checked whether the plugs were clean, blew out the mini jack adapter, it didn't help. Then I removed the magnetically held back cover of the node with my fingernails. Presumably the mini jack goes a little further into the socket. The node plays my toslink TV sound again. I double-checked, with the metal cover fitted there is no more sound. Maybe there are jack adapters that are a little bit longer (this adapter was however included with the Node).
