Node N130 HOME CINEMA GROUPS
AnsweredDear all,
I just read that the Powernode/ BluOS allows some kind of HOME CINEMA function, following I found:
Compatible Front Channels | Compatible Rear Channels |
PULSE SOUNDBAR+ | PULSE FLEX 2i |
POWERNODE (N330) | |
NAD M10 V2 |
POWERNODE 2i (mit HDMI) |
POWERNODE 2i (mit HDMI) | POWERNODE |
PULSE SOUNDBAR 2i |
POWERNODE 2 |
PULSE SOUNDBAR |
POWERNODE 2i |
- | PULSE FLEX (2 pcs. necessary) |
Is it also possible to use the Node N130 for that kind of setup? Or will it be implemented?
e.g. digital or analog out of the Node N130 to active speakers (left & right) and as rear channel some Flex 2i or whatever is listed above.
BTW: How does BluOS calculate the delay for this HOME CINEMA setup, normally the back speaker are closer to the listener.
Many thanks in advance!
Best regeards

Bluesound won’t comment on future plans but if you look at the chart you will see that all the devices have an amplifier built in and the NODE does not. It would be hard for Bluesound to ensure synchronised audio if they have no control of the amplifier… my view.

I agree, it would be hard but not impossible i guess. Would love to have this feature too. I own a NAD C399 with the Bluesound module. Would love to have this feature integrated or at least in a Node N130.
@Bluesound team: I've read this feature request multiple times over the last months. I hope this increases the chances for an integration.

Well If I should guess I think it is more a routing topic than a synchronisation topic.
I guess with an input of the speaker to listener disctance (x cm) it will be easy to set up, and more advanced users would use a measuring mic and REW to finetune the distance (to consider delays of the speakers etc.).
However I think it would be possible with the Node N130 hardware, question is will it be allowed/ implemented in software?
